Roasted elsewhere. Packaged elsewhere. Brands created elsewhere. Profits too.
What remains are raw commodity dependency, price pressure, and missing economic prospects for millions of young people.
And at the same time, we talk about SDGs, poverty reduction, women's empowerment, fair work, and inclusive supply chains.
But how credible are these goals if value creation continues to be shifted out of Africa instead of being built there?
That is exactly why our MISSION is clear:
To build a system that brings value creation back to origin, to the place where exceptional coffee has been grown for decades: Africa.
Together, we are rethinking coffee from Africa.
And changing a system that has separated value creation from origin until now.
