How the system works
Our model is based on three levels:
1. Production at origin
Coffee is grown by producers in Africa.
2. Processing & development
We invest in local processing capacities all the way to the finished product at origin.
3. Direct access to the market
The finished coffee is brought directly to international markets without shifting value creation away from origin.
Result: more value remains at origin.
People at the center
Behind every cup of coffee are people.
People who grow and process the coffee, and who create the foundation of the entire value chain.
A special focus lies on women, young people, and marginalized groups.
The goal is to make their role within the value chain more visible and inclusive, and to create long-term prospects.
